Beef & Broccoli Teriyaki


  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 85g sirloin
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • ½ large carrot
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 scallion (green onions)
  • 2 ½ tbsp brown rice, raw
  • Spray and Cook



  1. Prepare rice as directed.
  2. Prepare vegetables: Wash and trim broccoli and cut into bit size spears; slice carrots and scallion; slice sirloin into thin strips.
  3. Spray large, non-stick skillet or wok with Spray and Cook. Add 1 tsp sesame oil and heat on medium-high (will heat quickly).
  4. Add steak to skillet and sear for 1 minute on each side. Add broccoli, carrots, and teriyaki sauce to the skillet and toss to coat meat and vegetables.
  5. Reduce heat slightly and cover the pan to steam vegetables for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove cover and stir in scallions until warmed through. Spoon beef mixture over rice.
